New to Yarn Box this month are Kolláge Yarn's Square needles. Kolláge's square knitting needles are designed to be ergonomically suited to your hands, decreasing stress and strain for those who love to knit.

The square circulars and DPNs are made out of a high grade aluminum in a coppery brown color.

The K-Kable on the circulars is like no other on the market. It's feels soft, is ready to knit out of the package and will not kink, kurl or knot and has virtually no memory. I've been using the 2.75mm circulars to knit socks, and have found the square profile comfortable to knit with and the cable very forgiving of "abuse"; I've  been folding up the project to put in my handbag and found no problems.

Currently in stock: Sets of 5 DPNs are available in 5" (12.7cm), circular needles are available in 24" (61.96cm) and 40" (101.6cm) lengths.

Straight needles should be available within a week or two.

If you love knitting with Manos del Uruguay Silk Blend, I'd recommend you have a look at Louisa Harding Grace Hand Dyed. It's a gorgeous DK weight yarn in 50% Merino Wool / 50% Silk which is available in 10 beautiful softly variegated colours. The colours almost glow. Seeing is believing.

Brushed Suri - These little balls of fluffy loveliness are 60% Baby Suri, 22% Merino and 11% Bamboo. (For those who are wondering, Suri is a type of Alpaca.) This yarn has an incredible halo and could be knit on almost any size needle. Let your imagination be the limit!

Alpaca Silk - A simply gorgeous light DK yarn. Polished sheen, sumptuous handle and elegant drape all wrapped up in a blend of nature's most inspiring fibers - 50% Alpaca, 50% Silk. Unusual for an Alpaca Yarn in that it has almost no halo.

If you've managed to track down a copy of the much-sought-after "Sock Innovations" by Cookie A., you'll probably be in the mood for sock yarn.
